Racing

Racing is open to all sailboat types and levels of experience. You can find our official sailing instructions here. We score our races based on US Sailing’s Portsmouth Handicap numbers. Using these handicaps means that the boat that finishes a race first, doesn’t necessarily finish in first place. This scoring system does not always favor the sailor who owns the fastest boat. It rewards instead the sailor who gets the most speed out of the boat that they have.
